Mechanics Bank

I have used banks throughout the world. Even where I was not a citizen of the country, much less a regular bank customer, no bank has ever refused to change small amounts of their national currency into smaller denomination bills or coin in this case, $30, until I visited the Albany branch of Mechanics Bank. This is always accepted as a public service, especially where public resources are used to insure their deposits. If this is bank "policy," then it should be changed to reflect accepted national and international standards of courtesy, customer service and good will.
