General Info: The Albany Housing Coalition specializes in providing housing and services for homeless veterans. Founded in 1990, it maintains a transitional residence for more than 25 veterans. Richard J. Conners Veterans, a permanent assisted living facility maintained by the organization, offers accommodation to disabled veterans. The Albany Housing Coalition provides services, such as case management, counseling, workshops, and employment and training to veterans. The organization is also involved in developing affordable homes. Additionally, it publishes a monthly listing of affordable rentals that is emailed to over 75 local agencies and is available to neighborhood families. The Albany Housing Coalition is located in Albany, N.Y.
