*BEWARE!!!* - ABSOLUTEY HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE!



We were a wedding party from Hartford CT (wedding in Albany), found this place online. We all showed up early for our 9AM appointment. Well NO ONE showed up until almost 10!!! We actually looked up the owners house and went there which was vacant, for sale. When the owner (Katy) and her partner finally arrived, smelling horrible like cigarettes and alcohol, they never said sorry and were very rude right off the bat. At this point we all knew it wasn't going to be a good experience.



Now about their work.... STAY AWAY!! When they finally started (over an hour late) it's like they forgot all the supplies and tools at home that they needed. It was a mess! After makeup and hair, members of our party ACTUALLY WENT BACK TO THE HOTEL TO REDUE IT THEMSELVES. That's how bad this place is. None of the girls were happy. One of the girls had 32 pins in her hair that kept falling out all night and her hair was LITERALLY tied in a knot to hold it up. Its like they knew they were late, so started taking short cuts. Now on to the bride...It took every last bit of energy for us no to scream and yell at the 2 hung-over workers. The bride was outside crying getting fresh air because of how horrible this place was. Again, no apologies or remorse what so ever. We were running so late because of Hairs to You, we just booked out of there around 2 and were so late for pictures, that the bride and groom MISSED half of the reception.



Hairs to you and the owner should be avoided at all costs! This is not a good place and honestly we have no idea why there are other positive reviews about this place online. They must be made up by the owners family and friends. They destroyed our hair, butchered our makeup, and wasted THOUSANDS of our dollars throughout the day. Ruined the first half of the wedding by being so late and not prepared! Still to this day no apologies, return calls or reimbursement at all! BEWARE!!!
