Buchanan, Bibler, Gabor & Meis is an established, regional law firm in northern Iowa. Although we represent individuals and companies throughout many of Iowa's counties, our concentration remains in the northern half of Iowa, where we live and do a majority of our work. A significant and growing portion of our work involves accepting referrals from other attorneys seeking local counsel or asking for assistance with complex matters in our areas of experience. In addition to inclusion in U.S. News - Best Lawyers "Best Law Firms," Martindale Hubbell has awarded us its highest, AV rating.
To deliver the best possible service to our clients, we divide the major practice areas between the attorneys. This allows us more time to stay current on the latest developments in our respective fields of law. It is this type of teamwork that allows us to make our firm a general practice including but not limited to the following areas of practice: Agricultural Law, Business Law, Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Employment Law, Family Law, Litigation, Municipal Law, Personal Injury, Real Estate Law, Taxation, Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning & Probate Law. In short, our legal team has one or more attorneys practicing in all of the major practice areas for which our clients have an ongoing need.
We believe in service and continuing education through involvement in professional associations. We also believe in giving back to our northern Iowa community by serving on the boards of local foundations and performing substantial pro bono work each year.
