Liberty, located in Amsterdam, N.Y., offers a wide range of social and welfare services to the community throughout the state. The organization provides various services, such as residential and vocational programs, day care, family support and health care information. The vocational services include job development and preparation training, assistance in preparing and writing resumes and cover letters, career development and exploration, job coaching, employer support, incentives for employers and transportation assistance. The other services include individual and group counseling, and advocacy. It additionally offers various residential and individual support programs, including apartment living, live-in medical and personal assistance, home rentals and family living apartments. It provides 24-hour rehabilitation and emergency assistance services.
