Rapid Tax

I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN NO MATTER WHAT.

- The waiting time is terrible, signed in at 1pm and they called my name at 3:45pm (yes, same day.. lol) , I then found out from the sign-in sheet that they sneaked in other people who arrived/signed in after us while we are waiting.



- They lie about the prices they advertise for, BE CAREFUL, always ask how much they are going to charge you before you start. They have a big sign posted in the waiting room showing the price and they simply charged me 20$ extra, my taxes were very simple (I m single with only one W-2), they didn t even take 10 mins to file them. when I asked them what is that extra 20$ for, they told me the prices have changed and they forgot to change the sign outside, I definitely got the feeling of getting ripped off, I paid cash and they were supposed to give me back 40$, they gave me just 20 $ and they told me, YOU ARE DONE.. PLEASE GO when I insisted to get my 20$ back, they simply called the next customer and totally ignored me.



- The place overall is miserable, cold, dark, dirty, cheap swap meet furniture, nothing good to look at, I spent the 2.5 hours waiting in the parking lot cause the only 4 seats in the waiting area were all taken all the time.



- Just to compare them with filing taxes online, I checked with TurboTax.com and the difference in tax returns between the two was not really significant at least for me, I would definitely do my taxes online next year rather than going through this nightmare again.
