Feeling ripped off by Waba Grill.



First time I have tried Waba Grill and I feel ripped off. I went to the Anaheim Waba Grill with a coupon that was for this Anaheim location, it was 2 chicken bowls for $7.98. So I give the cashier my coupon and ask for the 2 chicken bowls, I have $9 in my hand knowing that was enough, $7.98 plus the 8% tax is $8.62.



So the cashier says that will be $9.48, I say I think you figured this wrong as this amount is more than $7.98 plus tax, she says no I don't think so and asks the other girl at the counter if her amount was right and the other girl say yes her amount is right. So I get another dollar out of my pocket to pay her the amount she is asking and say I know this isn't the right amount as $7.98 plus tax is not this much.



My receipt says $10.78 minus -$2.00 discount total $9.48.



So how does this work? My coupon is for 2 bowls for $7.98, not $2.00 off.
