Sanders Moving & Storage

They moved us on 02/28/2015. The movers were nice although unable to fit a 3 bedroom home into a 26ft truck. 4 months prior the moving company we used was able to fit it into a 17ft truck. The company gave us a quote of 306 for the mileage and 75$ an hour. 9.5 hours. They attempted to charge our credit card for 1600. After contacting the manager about the move he told us it was 1037$. He said when he got in the office he would fix it and contact us. We waited a week. The company continued to try to charge our credit card for 1600$ 3 more times actually, after they admitted the mistake. I called to speak with him and ask the problem and for an itemized final receipt to pay them. He became defensive, yelled at me, and told me there was no need for an itemized bill. Finally spoke via email only to their storage manager asking them to address the issue. They sent me an email with a total that was different than any other amount. Well I said that is not an itemized receipt. So they sent me another general email with a break down and a new total. Terrible customer service awful communication skills.

What a horrible experience. Moved us locally in 7/2014. Driver ran into my husbands vehicle, at least they did pay for repairs. Some of their moving personnel did exactly what we asked them NOT to do, and there was some random carelessness, so there was significant damage to some of our things. Three items were so damaged they needed immediate repair. The manager (who had to come out to the site while the move was going on because of the incident with our vehicle being hit) said that they use an excellent furniture repairman, and that they would take the 3 things back with them and have them repaired. We were hesitant about allowing that, but it had been such a stressful awful day, we told him okay. Over the course of 3 months we called Sanders office numerous times, wanting to get our things back, and either we left messages that were never responded to, or we spoke to the manager who told us the same story; the furniture repair guy is really busy and our items were not ready. Finally about 3 months after our move, I was able to get a call back from one of the owners of Sanders. She was not overly apologetic, and not overly pleasant, but at least it appeared she would get the ball rolling, or so we thought. About another month went by, and our things were finally "completed" by the repairman and delivered to us. The most expensive item looks like NOTHING was done to repair it except some black paint was put over the chunks of wood that had been chipped out of it. The absolute worst move we have ever experienced, and we are ex-military and have made MANY moves. Would NEVER recommend this company.

Excellent workers and an excellent move. I had several very heavy pieces to be moved from my 2nd floor to the 2nd floor at my son's home. They arrived on time, went to work immediately, and finished quickly. William and his helper were great. I would recommend them to anyone.

Top marks. Tim and his helper "Sunshine" nailed our move. They arrived on time and moved all our heavy furniture without a scratch. I would recommend them to anyone!
