My husband and I took our dog Niles in because he was bleeding from his mouth due to mouth cancer. We thought it was time to let him go, however the vet more or less lead us to believe he needed a 10 day antibiotic shot and to give him liquid medicine instead of the pills he taking because he refused to take them. They charged us 325, they wanted us to buy more medicine but we said no, then they became very cold and uncaring. To make a long story short Niles continued to bleed blood clots so we found a vet in Concord. The vet checked Niles out and said it was time for us to let him go. He said Niles had 13 years of love and we needed to continue showing our love for him by letting him go, so we did.

I have been blessed to have only GREAT experiences here; the staff is warm and caring given the urgency of situations and I appreciate them not only caring for my pets but me too.

I currently have a Dying dog, Not eating, jaundice, puking up blood, and this is the only place within Antioch that is open with services to attempt to end her suffering, Instead of listening to our complaints that the vet we normally go to called today to say the blood work was inconclusive but there is something wrong with her liver, The Doctor here said, Well I m not going to take your word for it, I ll need to see the blood count. I m not going to euthanize her on your word. You know the owners who see her everyday, live with her, and can tell when she is not herself, plus her normal vet is saying there is an issue, but can t tell what. I hope this man losses business due to his inability to do the humane thing.

I took my dog into this vet on a Sunday since it was the closest one open. The dog couldn't breath. They refused to do anything with the dog until I paid them $850 in cash or credit card. They would not take a check. The $850 bought me an hour of time while I had to come up with another $1000 for them to watch the dog overnight. They actually said they would take the dog off the breathing tube in one hour if I didn't pay $1000. Unbelievable. Hours later they still have no idea what the problem is.

Emergency? Really? It was more important to for the vet and staff to suck the money out of the owners of a little dog that had already died twice on the table. They were already informed that their bill was reaching $1,200, but let's go ahead and feed off their emotions and keep sucking more money out of them. It didn't seem very likely that it was going to live. My little dog sick, was I guess not sick enough to wait on (probably wouldn't be able to charge me enough) or the doctor and staff just can't multi task. Vet tech had a horrible attitude, and did not update us on the wait. After hours of waiting, and crappy service I was forced to leave with my sick little dog. I hope she lives through the night...thanks alot.

We had a 9 week old rottweiler that came down with parvo 3 days after we got her. She ended up having to be shuttled between the brentwood vet and the emergency vet for one week and had to have two surgeries to save her. Without the knowlege and care of the docters and staff from both hospitals, she would have died and came close to it several times. My family and I will be forever gratefull to the docters and staff of both facilities.Thank you
