IPM Corporation

I am a REALTOR in the Asheville area and am currently under contract to purchase in The Timbers neighborhood. IPM has delayed the closing of the loan on the condo in 2 instances - not providing the Insurance policy on the condos and holding the condo questionnaire for a week. They were incompetent and rude.

RENTERS BEWARE!!! PROPERTY OWNERS BEWARE!!! DO NOT CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY!!! They are the rudest, most incompetent property management company I have ever dealt with in 20+ years of owning and renting properties all over the south. Their staff will treat you like garbage even if you are a perfect tenant or property owner. If you like being verbally abused or made to feel like you are an irritant to their lousy staff, then by all means engage their services. They also have a TERRIBLE REPUTATION among the homeowner's associations they manage and make major problems for anyone trying to sell a condo or home in one of their managed developments. Local real estate agents HATE working with them!!! One agent who has to drive by their office on a daily basis has to resist the urge to drive his car into their front window. DO YOUR RESEARCH before using them for ANYTHING!!! After dealing with their rude, passive aggressive, totally useless property manager, I wouldn't let them manage a dog house, let alone one of my properties. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ONE THIN DIME!!! THEY WILL TREAT YOU AND YOUR RENTERS LIKE TRASH!!!

This company makes moving in really easy. We leased a house from this company back in 2008. Our lease was up in the spring. We were given a 2 day notice to sign another lease or move out. We signed the lease and then were transfered to another state 2400 miles away. We were responsible for rent until another person took over. Only the company waited a month before listing the property. They turned down 4 leases because the owners supposedly kept changing critera. Once someone did rent we recieved a bill for things that I had been told that I did not have to do. For an example carpet cleaning. They put new carpet in the house,turned around and charged me to clean the carpet they ripped out. They have a very unfriendly staff. Please consider other options before renting from this company.
