Wimbledon Oaks

visit and decide for yourself, I moved in Sept 2012 and am very disappointed. Staff is friendly and courteous but that is the lone positive. Noise is somewhat of an issue. Parking is the worst, don't be surprised if you come home from work and see another car in your spot. My car has also been vandalized, I'm sure by the same culprits whom I see parking in my spot all the time. Live and let live ya? not here though

Don't pay attention to any of the negative reviews you read online. Most of them have a beef with management, something I've never had in 14+ years here. The location is great and so is the maintenance team.

I've never met such liars in my life that call them self property managers. This place will tell you any lie that they can to get you to sign a lease. There are MULTIPLE hidden fee's that they tell you about. They will tell you that you are responsible for water which will average you about $10-$20 per month. The average water bill I've had was $52 plu per month. They run the sprinklers (even during water restrictions) x7 days for 2 hours each side of the building. My building still have green moss like I live on the lake from all the standing water and over watering. Then this hook up they have with mansfield municipal courts to serve you an eviction notice AFTER they have allowed you to make arrangements to pay late - whether it's 1 day late or 10 days late - you're issued a notice to vacate within one day. When you don't vacate (which they don't want you to they want you to pay theridiculous amount of charges they've come upe with. SO when you don't have the monies they have a constable to serve you with a court date/hearing but will tell you the will dismiss it if you can pay them all the monies before the hearing date. It's a horrible fraudlent cycle. The were managed by milestone who ran like heck and now Gables Residential is the owners. So far the staff person I've talked to at Gables fit in just as the other cons in the office at Wimbledon Oaks. They are on the corner of South cooper and Wimbledon Oaks - RUN AND DONT LEASE FROM THESE CROOKS. They will smile in your face and rob you blind at the blink of the eye.
