Von Paris Moving and Storage Arnold

We recently moved and used Von Paris. Our experience almost all around was horrible. All the packing went fine and on schedule until it was time to put boxes on the truck. A piece of valuable and sentimental jewelry was stolen from a personal bag that was not set out to be packed. The company has basically done nothing to help us. They got very defensive and were quite rude on the phone. The company moved us and my parents at the same time. A few of our items were broken and one end of our brand new temperpedic mattress got completely saturated in the truck! It took weeks for it to dry out and what was left was a huge stain. My parents had a few boxes lost in the move (they had to share a truck with another delivery) and they had a few antique items broken. Our overall experience has left us feeling frustrated and at a loss! I wish that the claims administrator had been somewhat compassionate about the stolen and destroyed items. Instead, we were handed empty apologies coated with defensive attitude. My advice is to find anothe moving company!
