Had the wonderful experience of having our Dryer serviced today by Al. We loved our Dryer, an older Maytag MCB8000AWW which has both a lower HE dryer and an upper steam cabinet that removed wrinkles and refreshed hung items such as sport coats etc. Al was able to work his way down to removing the drum after starting from within the upper cabinet. All along the way he explained why he was doing what he was doing, and what his suggestions for fixing the dryer would be.



Much to my surprise he did not recommend that we nuke out the old motor after testing it. He said that it was producing plenty of power and that only the broken pulley needed to be pulled.



After getting finished he took the time to run through the features on my dryer to make sure they were still working well. Finally, he cleaned up and presented me with a relatively modest bill. Specifically, he saved me over $140 for the electric motor that I could have been easily talked into.



If his work continues to holdout, AL has now found a very positive customer, who feels he was treated with integrity, not overcharged though the opportunity presented it. In short, I am more than willing to stand up and enthusiastically endorse this company as a great source of appliance repair.
