At Sun Room & Spa LLC we receive a lot of questions from our customers regarding the process of applying UV gel nails. In brief, it a straightforward process but one with many layers to it! Following the initial thinning of the nail and the pushing back of the cuticles, any nail dust is removed before additional layers of foundation are applied. This procedure is done to prepare the nails for the gel nail polish stage and is accompanied by the heating of the nails under a special UV lamp. This process is repeated after the color and style is chosen before a second layer of gel is added prior to the final heating under the UV light.
