You will not find more caring people then Pat Caniff and Marcia Caniff Davis. They have been a tremendous service to my family on several of the darkest times we have encountered. They are a staple in the Westwood community. You will not find more caring people then at Caniff Funeral Home.

Do not use this funeral home. Pat Caniff and Marcia Caniff Davis did not provide professional family services. They specifically catered to my wife's brother, Roger Lemaster, to cremate her mother, Pauline Lemaster against her wishes. He lied on the cremation form that he was the executor, that he had written instructions, and that he notified my wife. None of which was true. Pat Caniff called my wife and said there would be no service or viewinfg and that the body was on the way to the crematory and has probably already been burned. She emphatically told him that she nor her mother wanted cremation. He went ahead with the cremation anyway. The Kentucky Court of Appeals said that once my wife told him her mother did not want cremation the funeral home was not immune from libability. What they did was wrong, unethical, and unprofessional. Recommend that anyone in or around Westwood, KY use Preston Funeral Home. I gave one star only because there was nothing lower.
