Pediatric Care
Aspen Medical Care provides pediatric care for residents and visitors to the upper Roaring Fork Valley. Sick or well, Dr. Guggenheim and Dr. Harris have the expertise your child deserves. Family Medicine providers are also available to see children of all ages.

Since May of 2019, Ms. Watlerschied has been pursuing excellence in preventative health and comprehensive care at Aspen Medical Care. A family medicine physician assistant, she has a passion for providing individualized, evidence based care plans for each of her patients. Ms. Waltershied cares deeply about her patients, and strives to help each one fulfill their potential.
Emergency Care
She began her professional career in the Texas Children’s Hospital Emergency Department, where she practiced for eight years. Since arriving in the Valley in 2015, her focus has shifted to providing excellent well child care in addition to caring for more acute illnesses and injuries.

Utilizing personalized, evidence-based care to provide a holistic approach to treating patients with the result being promoting health and happiness for their entire life span through the management of chronic medical conditions. Dr. Connery focuses on preventative care which can include health screens, cancer screenings and immunizations.

His deep training and knowledge of the entire human body give him the tools and experience to analyze and make connections from multiple data sources to identify conditions and diagnose effectively for your optimal health.

Mental Health
Mrs. Golden is excited to work with the exceptional community of providers at Aspen Medical Care. She enjoys practicing a broad spectrum of medicine but takes a special interest in travel medicine, mental health, and performing simple procedures. Her goal is to provide care that allows her patients to feel valued and empowered to live their best lives.

MRI
Tracie Walterscheid, PA-C is one of our certified physician assistants performing outpatient care in our Aspen and Basalt medical offices. As your PA-C she can order and interpret lab tests and if needed make referrals for patients to see specialists as needed. Tracie have prescriptive authority for medications and can also rder physical therapy and home health services for their patients. When applicable she can order imaging studies such as mammograms, MRI’s, X-Rays, DEXA scans, CT scans, PET scans, etc.

Ms Kiehnbaum enjoys practicing a full spectrum of family medicine from pediatrics to adults.
