Athens Orthopedic Clinic

My experience with this business has been absolutely horrible. I had s TKR 2 yrs ago, a sciatic nerve decompression 18 mos. Ago and a cervical fusion a year ago. Still can't walk and don't have very good control of any body functions below the waist. I insist the knee was not done right but the surgeon ins ists it was. If it was done right, I would be walking now. Instead, I can't even put my full weight on my left leg. Hate to say it, but after having had five previous spinal surgeries with no complaints, this is absolutely the most horrible experience I've ever had with any of my thirteen major surgeries, including open heart. Am in constant pain, morr do than prior to the surgeries. Would not recommend to anyone

HORRIBLE CLINIC!!!!! If I could give this awful place less than one star I would. My husband waited here over 4 hours to be seen, only to have them injure him worse than he was to begin with, and the staff was RUDE and HATEFUL. Go to the ER or another clinic before you waste lots of time and money on this AWFUL facility.

Athens Orthopedic Clinic basically has a monoploy in the Athens area because the other doctors are not that good and it is scary to go to them. I have been going to AOC for 3 years and have been pretty good at keeping my bills paid. You would think after this much time there would be a trust level built up. However, I am having a dispute with a bill and because of that they refused me treatment. I am a working mom, and economy is not that great here. I make poverty wages but still I pay my bills. It does not seem right that I go in and possibly have a fracture in my arm and Athen's Orthopedic Urgent Care sends me away. I have one question, where would they be with the community...us.
