Referred to me by a friend who spoke very highly of them. Showed up on time, completed the work, bill was below what I expected. Offered to check my water heaters to make sure they were in good shape and spent time showing me where my water cut off was. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

WOW, I called tried to speak to someone regarding plumbing instalation and the RECEPTIONIST was the rudest lady I have dealt with! I asked can I speak to someone, she said no one is in the office, I asked when would be a good time to call back, she said they come out come in all day. lmao I then ask okay is it better to call in am or pm, her dam reply was early and late. Are you kidding me! Lady just give us straight answers, if you don't want to be bothered with potential jobs then just say so. Frankly if that lady is your front line for customer service I can only imagine how the rest of the team treats customers!



next time just grab a pen, take customers name down, question or questions ask for phone number and inform customer that someone will be in contact with them. SMH

I've had McElroy's plumbing to my house twice. The first time was an emergency during three or four days when the temperature dropped into the teens. A pipe under our house froze and burst. Even though they had an entire day of similar jobs, they arrived at our house at about 9PM and stayed until past 11, when the problem was fixed. A journeyman plumber did the repair, but a second, Master Plumber stayed the entire time and made sure it was fixed properly. The charge was less than $100.



Based on this first experience, we had McEleroy's Plumbing back to fix a toilet that wouldn't fill properly after being flushed. While the gentleman was here he completed two other small jobs. For example, he replaced a shower head that was leaking badly. He had to make a trip to Lowe's to get a part, which took about 40 minutes of the nearly two hours he was here. The bill was $77.



We've lived in Athens for 40 years and have dealt with at least three plumbing companies, in addition to McElroy's. One experience was a nightmare; several were adequate. McElroy's provided superior service, by far. We've recommended them to a couple of neighbors and they reported similar positive experiences.

They charged me $65 per hour when one plumber came last time. Today, two plumbers came and they charged me $95 per hour. So my total was $190 for today's service. For one technician they charged me $65 per hour and for two technicians they charge me $95 per hour? That is $30 difference. I did not understand that!!!!!!!!! It was not plumbers' fault. The plumbers said that the company told them to charge $95 per hour when two plumbers work. I did not understand logic behind it. I called the company and all they said was it was their price that $95 per hour when two people work. They charge customers $30 more because they sent one more plumber?????? I DO NOT understand that and I DO NOT understand why I was charged with $190!!!!!!!!! I would NOT recommend McLeroy Plumbing services to others!!!!!!!!!
