In recovering from ear surgery, most patients are able to return to many of their light day-to-day activities approximately one week after their procedure. Throughout your recovery, it’s important to follow all post-operative instructions closely. Dressings should only be removed as directed by Dr. LeRoy, as removing them prematurely can affect how the ear adjusts to its new shape. Patients should also follow close instructions regarding how long they should avoid laying on or putting pressure on the affected ear(s).

Botox
Frown lines, crow’s feet, and other facial wrinkles can often combine to make a person appear older and more tired than they physically are. BOTOX® Cosmetic or Dysport®, a purified form of botulinum toxin approved by the FDA, is an excellent way to treat facial wrinkles. These wrinkles are caused by contraction of the underlying muscles. To remove these wrinkles, BOTOX® Cosmetic or Dysport® is injected through a very small needle in minute amounts into the muscles that cause these contractions. Nose Surgery
The aesthetic effects of nose surgery will be apparent within a few weeks as swelling reduces, but the final result will not be fully visible until the structure of the nose has completely healed. During this healing process, patients are discouraged from involvement in strenuous activities which might aggravate swelling.
Body Lift
A circumferential abdominoplasty is for patients who have large amounts of excess skin and fat in the middle part of the body, often after losing large amounts of weight after bariatric surgery or other weight loss methods. Otoplasty
The otoplasty procedure can differ based on the individual patient and their aesthetic goals. The incision is typically made on the back of the ear. Depending on what is needed to achieve the desired results, double board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. John LeRoy will likely re-shape and remove cartilage as necessary, using internal sutures to secure the ear’s new shape before closing the incision. The procedure can be performed on one ear or both ears, based on the patient’s needs.

Chemical Peels: Dr. LeRoy’s licensed esthetician applies a mild glycolic acid formula to improve the appearance of dry patches, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and acne scarring. Our plant-based glycolic acid peel gently removes the outermost layer of dead skin cells while promoting your body’s ability to produce collagen to yield younger, vibrant looking skin. Most chemical peel patients report slight flushing and skin tightness after treatment that subsides once the skin sheds the targeted outer layer. Discomfort can be minimized by using an appropriate sunscreen and moisturizer for a few days following a chemical peel.

Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion: Specialized, adjustable machinery exfoliates excess, dead skin cells from the surface of the face and/or neck to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmented regions and improve skin tone and texture. Dr. LeRoy’s licensed esthetician first analyzes your skin condition(s) and selects an appropriate level of exfoliation. Most microdermabrasion patients compare the treatment to a thorough scrubbing of the skin. There is minimal discomfort and no downtime associated with microdermabrasion; although, some patients do experience some minor flushing immediately after treatment.
