Auburn Trap Shooting Club

This trap club is about 2 miles from where I live so it is very convenient to shoot at. I have been a member going on 2 years now and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I was nervous at first because I didn't know really how to shoot. They lent me a gun and gave me lessons right away. I soon after purchased my first shotgun and try to go back at least 2 times a month. The place is clean and friendly.

The only other comment wasn't a nice one....I don't know who that lady was, but of all the time I have been there, the volunteer staff has been nothing short of amazing!

I have shot at many trap and skeet facilities across the country. I would attend the Auburn trap club special events and P.I.T.A. sponsored events being a avid P. I. T. A. and lifetime NRA member. But after attending the latest Fun shoot for hams on March 13 2010. That will be the last time I patronize the Auburn Trap Club. There seemed to be a discrepancy between one of the members who won a ham and the woman behind the counter. I heard someone comment that the man should just be given a ham, and the woman became very upset so the man walked away and said sorry your loss. She then said It will be your loss. That didn't seem to be a big deal, however later when the member came to retrieve his ham the woman behind the desk was completely unreasonable. My 11 yr old daughter was with me and the woman shouted out several vulgar words when it was decided that the man in fact had one one of the sessions. She then proceeded to scream and yell more vulgar words and got in her car and sped out of the parking lot. Thank God nobody was hit by this crazy woman. I have no Idea who she was, But I will never bring my Daughter back to Auburn Trap Club. I hope with all the people that witnessed her behavior, she will not be allowed to return to the Auburn Trap Club. I know I wont.
