Attorney Richard Gunger has represented my Fiancé and I, in Family Court and Supreme court for his child custody issue and my divorce. He fought for everything we asked for. I finally finalized my divorce and custody case and I cannot tell you how happy that I retained Richard Gunger in this matter. I started with another local attorney who was not really aggressive and didn't have a good bed side manner. I decided to change attorneys and my former attorney actually recommended Richard. Right away Richard and I developed a great rapport. The minute I walked into court with him I could tell that he was very well respected by both the court staff and the judge. At the time we were finalizing the custody aspect of my divorce, the judge actually said in court that in all the years he had been a Judge that he had never changed his mind after deciding an issue, but after Richard made a very impassioned argument on my behalf, the judge actually ruled in my favor on important parenting/ visitation issue. Even the Attorney for the Child that disagreed with my previous attorney's position and would not return any of my phone calls, spoke up on my behalf and said that he was convinced that Richard's arguments were in my children's best interest. If you want an attorney that will fight with compassion yet still be aggressive on your behalf hire him. He is extremely honest with you and does not just tell what you want to hear to get your money. Just the opposite...he is honest and will explain your rights in detail and never talk down to you. I would without reservation suggest calling Richard if you want the best Attorney in Auburn on your side.

I retained Dick to handle a very complicated Federal Court case. He walked me through case step by step and kept me informed throughout the whole matter. My hearing went very smoothly and he kept me calm the whole time. The trustee asked me if Mr Gunger did a good job explaining to me all of my petition and further indicated that he did a perfect job on my case.
