General Info: WRDW-TV is a television channel affiliate by the Columbia Broadcasting System in Augusta, Ga. The channel provides digital subchannels for MyNetworkTV on DT2 and AccuWeather on DT3. Its studios are located in North Augusta,S.C. WRDW-TV s transmitter is in Beech Island, S.C., where it broadcasts in analog on VHF channel 12 and in digital on UHF channel 31. It is currently owned by Gray Television. The television channel offers news related to health, politics, sports, weather, entertainment and education. It provides news on a variety of sports activities, including basketball, football, golf, hockey, soccer and tennis. WRDW-TV utilizes a range of advanced equipment, such as a LIVE Super Doppler 5000 and SuperDoppler 5000 Interactive Radar for weather forecasting. Its weather department operates the hurricane and radar and alert centers for emergency weather forecasting. The channel s classifieds section offers information for the matrimonial and personal purposes.
