Hickory Ridge Apartments

The first apartment they gave me was full of cockroaches! When i brought the problem up with them they said there was nothing they could do! I wanted my money back and to get as far away from this as possible! But they would not let us out of the lease! Only give us a new apartment so we moved into a new one and went crazy with bug spray! Lol the shower will randomly change from hot to cold you cannot enjoy a shower here!! The maintenance took forever to show up! And one time didnt even close my door when they left! Thank god my cats didnt get out!! The manager didnt even have record that we lived there! Also they tried to steal my rent check! Telling me i never put it in the drop box! When in fact i did an took a picture of it! ( just in case because they are shady) well i showed them and they magically found it!! After that incident we paid the leave fee and moved far away from the crazy hell hole!!

avoid this place like the plauge! there are many problems here like vandalism, break ins, employee theft (maitenance will come in and steal things), rude tenants, unhelpful staff (they have lost our rental lease 3 times and we have had to provide them with fresh copies),rent scams ( it was shown that the former manager was raising the utilities to skim money off the top), delapitated buildings (if they do not fix the problems by january 2010 this complex will be condemed), showers that freeze you one second and burn you the next, spiders OH MY GOD THE SPIDERS! ive killed at least 50 this summer alone, and an all around attitude that this place is the "ghetto" so trying to get the people to help make this place better is as easy as getting pace pecante sauce from a rock. running an apartment complex might be hard but getting the staff to give basic needs and services without rolling their eyes and acting like its not their problem is almost impossible. this place needs to be condemned.
