The Association for Individual Development is a nonprofit, community-based organization that works to enrich the lives of individuals with diverse disabilities by promoting individual achievement and community inclusion. It serves communities throughout Kane, Kendall, DeKalb, DuPage, Cook and Will counties in Illinois. The organization supports and organizes over 20 programs for individuals with physical or developmental disabilities and those in need of behavioral health services or crisis intervention. The Association for Individual Development is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and it is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. Located in Aurora, Ill., it offers services to more than 3,800 individuals.
