Aurora High School is a part of the Aurora City School District. The school is for students of grades nine through 12, and has a school choir, band, Philharmonic orchestra, jazz band and an art department that offers various courses, such as pottery and sculpture, painting, and computer art and design classes. Its academic curriculum includes English, math, history, geography, physics, chemistry, biology and a foreign language option. Various sporting activities are also available at the school, including boys and girls golf, dodge ball, tennis, cross-country, basketball, hockey, swimming, wrestling, softball, cheerleading, baseball, and track and field.
