J & L Custom Embroidery

I recently had the misfortune of taking my hard earned money to J&L Custom Embroidery to have baseball shirts made. I am speaking as a Bakersfield consumer and do not represent the baseball team my son plays on. My 2 separate orders were not for the team but rather a personal order to have my son's name put on his two team jerseys and a single hat order for myself and then a second order for 12 shirts for my son and family members.



Each time I used the services of J&L I was clearly made to feel as though my order was an inconvenience to them. Each order was ready past the store indicated date they would be ready. When I called to find out when my order would be ready I was told I would be called back...and no call was ever received. When I would drive to the store a worker would disappear to the back of the store and return with an, "Your order will be ready in a couple of days, we'll call you."



I just picked up my 12 shirt order that was supposed to have the team logo on the front with my son's name and number on the back. (This was clearly discussed with the owner Jose at the ordering) My shirts arrived with a logo on the front and nothing on the back. I brought in 6 shirts of my own shirts to boot and just paid $168.00 for 1 logo on the front of 12 shirts!



In expressing my lack of clear disappointment in the order, Jose had tried to let me know how frustrated he was with such a small order. To all looking for an embroidery service with an order less than I would assume 1000 shirts.....DO NOT BOTHER THE STAFF AT J&L CUSTOM EMBROIDERY WITH YOUR SMALL AND UN APPRECIATED BUSINESS.

I agree, this place is too disorganized. Im afraid that the owner will loose my order and give me the wrong quantity of shirts. Which it did happen, he forgot to give me 3 shirts and had to wait the following week for these three shirts. I really dont know how they keep the business going.

I went to this shop because my friends recommened me this place but when I got there, it was terrible. The place is a mess and very disorganized. Disorganized because I have placed an order and three weeks later I called to see the status and the owner (who surprisingly handles all sales and phone calls) told me it wasn't ready. I bet he forgot my order and was lost in his messy desk. He even wrote my order on a piece of paper. No order forms. I eventually got it, it is great work but they fail on customers service. If you don't mind your order being lost and guessing your product would be done on time, then this is the place for you.
