Dr. Kenneth Todd, MD

A while back.he was investigated for steroid abuse he was suspended from writing. Meds 6 months so he had his buddy write for him very dangerous man he prays on the weak

Dr. Todd is the worst psychiatrist I've seen. Seems caring at first, but really just cares about himself. All he does is ramble on about how big his house is, then asks how you're doing while he just writes prescriptions either not really listening or not caring, it became hard to tell. I saw him for about a year. He wasn't helping but I didn't know where else to go. Every other psychiatrist had a month or 2 waiting period for new patients. I went in one day in desperate need if help. I was severely depressed, hadn't been able to eat for days, and was too weak to do anything. I was glad I lived close because I wouldn't have been able to drive far. He sat down with me, wrote the usual prescriptions, and I tried to really talk to him, actually crying and in real need of help. He gave me the prescriptions and said time was up. When I asked to please talk just a little longer he said he had "better things to do" as his personal cell phone would go off throughout the entire session.

My mom had to drive up from New Orleans to get me because I was too weak to do anything else when I made it back to my apartment. I was crashing and slept for 3 days, trying to eat soup for some nutrients. I was almost hospitalized bc of my condition caused by my mental disease, which threw me into such severe depression.

That could have all been prevented if Dr. Todd actually paid attention to how his patients are actually doing. I never been that bad off before.

I am now seeing a more, in my opinion, qualified psychiatrist in New Orleans. I am willing to commute from Baton Rouge to New Orleans in order to get better.



Also, for those of you trying to find a good psychiatrist, do some background checks on Dr. Kenneth Todd. There's some interesting information about how he can't practice in California anymore.



Please be careful in who you choose. Otherwise you'll be wasting a huge amount of money and you will not get better. Find someone who really cares.
