I am absolutely disgusted. I called the Bay City branch and asked to schedule a free estimate. My husband works during the day and has an on-call schedule, so we can never guarantee that he will be available for appointments. Knowing this, I tried to schedule an estimate with just me there, and the person I spoke with refused to do it. "Why can't you just schedule an estimate with just me?" "We just need both decision-makers there." What if my husband drove truck and wouldn't be home for 2 weeks? What if he worked out on the oil rigs and is only home every other month? What if he was deployed to another part of the world? You guys wouldn't schedule an estimate with me because the other decision-maker isn't available??? That is COMPLETELY INSULTING to insinuate that I am not capable of making decisions on my own. I decided to call Lawrence Smith Window and Door, and they'll get my business. I will make sure I broadcast to everyone I know how I was treated, and I will encourage all of my several hundred Facebook friends to avoid your company as well.
