New management has taken over and the place looks okay, but don't be fooled.

The advertised rent is expensive - then they charge you a move-in fee, a non-refundable pet fee and an additional $30 per month per pet, an additional $100 per month per parking space (where cars are regularly broken into and vandalized), there's no guest parking and they harass you even if someone parks in an EMPTY UNOCCUPIED space for a couple hours, they tack on an additional fee for using the heat and A/c units on top of what you already pay for electricity (I have asked repeatedly for them to explain why this charge exists and have never received a good explanation), they charge you $25 per day for each day the rent is late, and they're not nice about any of this. The filter in my refrigerator needed replacing, they refused to do it unless I paid them $50. The light bulb in my fridge went out and they said they would change it for $7. And good luck changing the light bulbs in your 12 foot high ceilings. They won't even let you borrow a ladder. They even charge for water. NOTHING is included in the very high base rent in this shady neighborhood in this building run by shady people.



Also, I was told when I moved in that someone would be sitting at the front desk during the day. I have never seen anyone sitting there in the year and a half I have lived here. Not to mention, I was promised (and it is in writing in my lease) that no large aggressive dogs would be allowed in the building. The super has a PITBULL.

I guess I can't blame him for getting on judging by the characters I see late at night hanging around the block and breaking into our vehicles.

Bottom line, they do whatever they want, violate their own lease agreement, and nickel and dime you until you hate living here. This isn't a home. This is a business and each tenant is just a dollar sign to these people.

I can't WAIT to leave.
