J Smith Pump & Water Treatment Service

I was under contract for a property contingent on having a well test performed. I had one week to have the test performed so I reached out to this company when given a business card by my realtor. I called and made contact after several failed attempts and voice mails. I was told that his technician was on vacation and they were backed up also that he wouldn't be able to get to me for a week. I then had to re-sign a new contract on land pushing the well test deadline back an additional week. The following Monday I spoke to Johnny about scheduling an appointment. He said Wednesday would be good. I spent the next 2 days with no answers to my calls until he finally told me his technician had a last minute doctor's appointment and wouldn't be able to make it until Friday which was the new deadline. Friday came and gone with no contact and no response we ended up closing on the property despite not having the water tested. Needless to say please read and be warned not to deal with this unprofessional and inconsiderate company. I'm sorry to the other family who actually had work done by this guy because they have already invested money into this crampy company!!!!!

This guy installed a house water filtration system for us 2.5 years ago. His wife (in training) spilled pipe adhesive all over our water softener and floor, he stained our sink with his testing kit...no apology or any credit toward service. Told us this media would last 3 to 5 years. Now, 2.5 years later we called due to low water pressure. He talked us through the bypass and the pressure returned. We followed all his instructions, flow on his system down to .024 gallons - virtually no water pressure. He told us he would be out in 2 days to replace the filter media. That day came and went...late in the afternoon we called him. He said he got hung up on another job and would be out the next day around noon. Again, no call, no show. No call on Saturday either to explain or apologize. My husband called and left a message on Monday (a week from initial call) and he sent his tech to re-do all we did the previous Monday. Unprofessional to say the least.
