        Established in 1966, Shokookai of Portland is an educational organization that provides funds for the Japanese Schools throughout Oregon. It consists of more than three committees, including General Affairs Committee, Education Committee and Welfare Committee. The organization has over 60 regular and nearly 30 supporting members. It organizes several cultural, social and sports activities for its members. Shokookai of Portland is located in Beaverton, Ore.
