Dental Examination
Your results may last anywhere from 3 to 6 months. If you go to the dentist every 6 months for regular teeth cleanings and exams as your dentist recommends, you can have the procedure repeated as needed.

Oral Cancer Screening
Oral cancer affects thousands of Americans yearly. We use the latest technology to detect changes in oral tissue consistencies and/or lesions. A specialized blue light is utilized to detect unhealthy oral tissue. Healthy tissue looks lighter under the light while spots of bad tissue appear dark. With early detection, cancer may be caught before it has time to spread, potentially saving lives.

Teeth Cleaning
At your child’s comprehensive oral evaluations, we will also provide teeth cleaning. Regular cleanings keep gums healthy and teeth cavity-free by removing plaque and tartar. After the cleaning, your child’s teeth will be polished to remove stains and create a smooth surface to make it harder for new plaque deposits to form.
Fluoride Treatment
We encourage parents to accompany their child during their visit. This gives you an opportunity to see us working with your child and allows us to discuss dental findings and treatment needs directly with you. At your child’s first visit, we will review the medical/dental health history form with you. A thorough head and neck examination and evaluation of the teeth and gums are performed. Typically, digital x-rays radiographs (x-rays) are taken only if necessary. If no treatment is needed, the teeth will be cleaned and a fluoride treatment will be provided.
Dental Sealants
Dental sealants are a BPA-free resin material that is painted onto the chewing surfaces of the teeth in order to seal crevices and prevent cavities from forming. Sealants are a low-cost treatment that is highly effective when it comes to cavity prevention.

Fillings
Resin Composite
Made using BPA-free composite resin in our office, these are less expensive than porcelain veneers. They can alter the appearance of tooth color, size, or shape and can be an effective solution for less extensive cosmetic improvements. They are fully customized as are the porcelain veneers, but the composite material is somewhat susceptible to staining and does not last as long as porcelain.

Dental Implants

Invisalign Orthodontics
Invisalign® takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable, and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact tooth movements our office plans out for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You just switch to a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, until your treatment is complete. You’ll achieve a great smile with little interference in your daily life. The best part about the whole process is that most people won’t even know that you’re straightening your teeth.
Braces
If you or your child participates in sports, it’s important to have a custom mouthguard to protect the teeth and jaw from injury. Mouthguards are especially important for patients with orthodontic braces. We take an impression of your teeth, then create a device fitted to your mouth for a more comfortable fit, easier breathing, and better protection.
