When we ran the car with no heat or vibration on the alternator we were told that the bearings were bad when they checked it. The discussion ended with the proprietor telling us that if we did not have 100% proof that the plug was damaged in his shop that he was under no obligation to work with us on the alternator replacement. After showing the car to another auto tech we were told that we had been overcharged for the engine replacement by about $1500.
