Alborz

Horrible service. The only time the servers came,was the deliver the food and give the receipt. I was thirsty ....damn...will not visit again.

We go to Alborz about twice a month. We rountinely have the various kebabs rather than the sauce dishes simply because I can make those myself. The kebabs are delicious no matter which one you decide to try. The chicken is never overcooked and dry. The koobideh (ground kebab) is consistently well spiced and cooked well. The fillet kebabs are of a good quality and tender. The salmon kebabs are also well worth trying. Rice comes with each of these kebabs and is perfectly cooked; each grain separated from the other. I married into a family of Persians and are they fussy about their rice! They are always pleased with it; the only possible exception is that sometimes it is not hot out of the pot. Try the doogh (yogurt/mint/salt/bubbly water); this drink is freshing. Try the faludeh for dessert (enough for 2 or 3 people), soooo refreshing.
