Located in Berkeley, Calif., Church Divinity School of the Pacific is a graduate theological seminary of the Episcopal Church, and a member of the ecumenical Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, Calif. Academic Programs available at the school include master of divinity, a three-year program preparing students for ordained or professional lay ministry services, and master of theological studies, a two-year program providing academic grounding in theological disciplines. It also offers a master of arts degree program that prepares students for teaching, lay ministry services, and further graduate study, and doctor of ministry, an advanced professional degree program. Church Divinity School of the Pacific also offers certificate of Anglican studies, a one-year program for students who wish to pursue study of the Anglican tradition, and certificate of theological studies, a one-year program for persons seeking spiritual enrichment, or engaged in a diocesan program of ministry development.
