Cost Cutters

I can always get an appointment within a day or two! Everyone is always very pleasant. MY hairdresser always takes the time to ask how I want my hair cut. She does a great job and this time she offered me a suggestion and I liked it! Sorry, I can't tell you her name, but it begins with a D!!!

I honestly won't be coming back. The woman who cut my hair butchered it, and I now look like a 12 year old! I asked for bangs that are angled so I can style them to the left. She didn't listen, cut them straight across, and then tried to style them. I paid for mine and my daughters cuts and left the store trying not to cry. It was clear that she was trying to rush to get me out. Just very disappointed.

Does anyone know where Lisa went when she left Cost Cutters in Berlin CT????

Lisa is an amazing stylist. She works miracles. my hair was a mess. For years, no stylist could give me the cut I asked for. She listened, I showed her a pic and she did exactly that, with enthusiasm. Love this place. All the ladies are friendly and nice.

Cost Cutters on Mill St. is great salon. I have been going there for many years and Natalie, my stylist, is very professional and extremely pleasant. She goes out of her way to set an appointment time for my color that is convenient with my demanding work schedule, even if it means she must start before her shift or stay late. Her color work is excellent and I get highlights and low lights. My hair cut is always done the way I like it and she listens to meet my preferences. I have found all the ladies who work there to be very professional and friendly. They help each other out with washing clients and that certainly keeps the service moving. I highly recommend the staff and the salon. You won't be disappointed. Theresa D.

I have been going to this Cost Cutters for a year after moving out here and I have not left unhappy. Someone is always at the front desk to check me in and the wait was not long which is great considering I swing by after work. Its quick, cheap with friendly staff.

Monday, which I didn't realize cost cutters was open, I bring the boys after school! With two boys I'm in this salon often! Every experience I've had so far has been great! The staff is very friendly & the music while waiting was pleasant as well!

Went in for a perm. Certain parts of my hair started to go straight from the day I got home and after a couple of weeks there were barely any curls. I have had many, many, successful perms throughout my life, one being about a year and a half ago. Went back and showed my stylist and the manager my straightened hair. All agreed something happened, not sure why the perm did not take, mind you, my hair is also dried out now. Was informed by the manager that the policy at this location is that they will re-perm at no charge within 2 weeks of the original service. My hair would have fallen out because it was damaged from the first attempt!! Anything after 2 weeks I was told that I would have to pay half. Wow, really!! My perm did not take, was rolled loosely, not enough rollers, perm could have been defective, and I am stuck paying for it, not to mention having to take time off of work to have this service redone. Spoke with franchise owner, who states he has no experience in hairdressing, also states he only owns the franchise. Owner backed up the manager's decision stating that this is in fact the policy. As much as I did like my stylist, I will no longer be a customer.
