Calm, peaceful environment. The owner, Lynne, is very accommodating in finding an appointment that meshes with your schedule. I had an appointment with Bonnie who has been great at working on a chronic neck injury. She applies just the right techniques (cupping, hot stone, graduated deep pressure) to alleviate the muscle spasms. I bought the discount package of multiple sessions for future "tune ups" after seeing such good results. I highly recommend Natural Balance.

I recieved a massage from Lynne and Andrea and both were great. Each therapist offered something different and special to my needs. As soon as I walk thru the door I feel relax and at peace. After searching many years for the right therapist who could relieve the stress I have I found Andrea right under my nose. She listens to what you want and need and makes you feel very comfortable. I have recommended her to many people who are just as happy as I am.

I have only had a handful of massages in my life, all as gifts, and although all were nice none ever stood out to make me go back as a repeat customer. Through a Groupon offer I decided to try a 60 minute massage at Natural Balance in Newington. One thing I liked right away was that it had a very comfortable, unassuming feel. Lynne, the owner, assigned me to Andrea, and I was met with someone with a sparkling personality who made me feel comfortable and welcome. She asked me about myself and any areas of concern, and also explained her work-flow. The deep tissue massage was aggressive but exactly what was needed to get me back on track. As time has evolved, Andrea has altered her approach to adapt to my changes. I had one particular upper back issue that she worked out in one session and it never returned. I have been a repeat customer with Andrea and I have seen her grow as a therapist while sharing her knowledge of body mechanics and having a positive influence on me to stay in shape. Highly recommend!

I received a massage at Natural Balance yesterday and I have experienced enough massages to know when a therapist is going through the motions or responding to my body. Lynne is in the latter category. Let's be honest - all massage feels good. The questions is: does it do good? Yesterday's massage targeted specific issues in my body and so I feel like the word therapeutic massage truly applied whereas at other places it has sometimes been a rote routine. Throughout the entire session I felt like I was in good hands-- literally and figuratively.

A number things really stood out about this therapist in positive way. She was very knowledgeable about her craft and extremely professional. She really listened, and addressed the areas bothering me. I left there feeling relaxed and refreshed. I have another appointment and can't wait to go back!
