Founded in 1909, Sivyer Steel runs an ISO 9001:2000-certified foundry that serves the needs of customers in the construction, mining, railroad, transportation, and pump and valve industries. Additionally, it serves the power generation, steel, aerospace, agriculture, demolition, scrap and solid waste recycling industries. Located in Bettendorf, Iowa, the company has a staff of engineers who have expertise in fields that include computer-aided and pattern engineering, machining and drafting and MAGMAsoft simulation of casting pouring and solidification. Sivyer Steel manufactures carbon, low alloy, armor, austenitic manganese and stainless steel alloys. It manufactures alloys using sand-casting disciplines, including shell, green sand and no-bake.
