Sylvia Nelson Massage Therapist

Sylvia is incredibly knowledgeable of not only massage, but everything wellness related. I have tried many massage therapists in the past but usually only went to one appointment and never re-booked. This changed when I met Sylvia and I have been using her exclusively since. Her office is beautiful and peaceful. Our massage sessions are so much more than massage as she is a wealth of information regarding all things health! I highly recommend her services.

Take the first step. Do something to rejuvinate and relax. I did. My first visit to get a Massage by Sylvia was a birthday present to myself. That day literally changed my life. I had no idea how much of my energy was trapped in the pain of injuries from past auto accidents and wear and tear from an active life. Sylvia's massage freed me from the stress of constant pain. Before I experienced the massage, there was no focus in my life and I just drifted from day to day being steered by stress and excess. My ability to tolerate anything out of routine was at a minimum. Sylvia's custom theraputic massage raised my tolerance threshold to whatever life would throw my way and restored balance to my mind and body. Her custom massage significantly lowered my stress level. Sylvia intuitively knows how to systematicly relieve physical distress as her massage creates improvement in mental, physical and emotional health. My energy is no longer locked up in aches and pain caused by physical trauma from sports injuries and an auto accident. Since getting theraputic massage I feel confidence when trying out new interests and I no longer live in fear of injury. This inner peace is my idea of real freedom. JC

In July, I broke a bone in my hand after a fall. I was in a cast for 4 weeks, and then was told to do some physical therapy for a few weeks. I was already doing some of the exercises at home, and decided to give a try with the myofascial release. I have had three sessions, and I can tell you that I feel so much better even after the first session. Sylvia is so professional, and just "knows" where to start with the myofacial. Sylvia is very much "in tune" with you while she is working on you. She worked on the whole arm, everywhere that was hurt when I fell, not only the one part of my hand that was broke. She cares so much for each of her clients, and is very concerned about your whole being.



She has gone to school for massage therapy, and has continued to take more and more classes to learn how to better serve the people that come to her for help.

I would encourage anyone that is thinking of trying either massage, or myofascial release, to please try Sylvia, I am sure that you will be as happy with her care as I have been.

She is very attentive to my needs; wether it is a relaxing massage or deep tissue work. I came to Sylvia a few years back with severe leg pain that have been going on for a few months. She did myofascial release therapy on them followed by deep tissue massage. The pain was at least 80-90% gone after only one session!

I was shocked and very happy!



I have fibromyalgia and sometimes hurt all over. When my body starts aching more I realize I haven't been in to see her for a while. After a session with Syliva I feel so much better. She seems to have a sixth sense of any areas that are bothering me by checking over my body.



Recently I had muscle spasms in my back and was unable to get into the doctor for a few days. The pain was terrible and it was difficult to function. Luckily I was able to get into see Sylvia that afternoon. She worked intently on the area and I left with the spasms gone!

Her massage room is calming, relaxing, peaceful, and clean. There is no outside noise to disturb you.

I have never felt rushed or that she wasn't totally concentrating on her job at hand. She takes her work seriously and does an amazing job!
