Kidz Cutz

This place is soooo cute! It has nice bright colors and fun activities for my children to do while waiting. My sons favorite was playing with the Foosball table, while my daughters favorite was coloring on the chalkboard wall. I enjoyed that there is two waiting areas, one aimed for my children including huge bean bag chairs and a small variety of books and then an adult waiting area with adorable chairs and many magazines. Personally, my favorite chair is the purple studded one, it was super comfy! My kids enjoyed such a treat during their visit...They both got to choose which chair they wanted to sit in (rocket ship, four wheeler, mickey mouse, or big kid chair). And the stylist was speedy! This worked out great for us because my son is super wiggly and she was able to give him a great cut, even with all the wiggles. As for my daughter, I'm sure she felt like a princess when she was finished (I watched her flip around her hair a couple of times, lol). They have so many fun hair options for girls from the different colors they can get put in to the crazy fun braids. After my kids were all dolled up they were able to choose a treat. This is where I get a little worried because my son has allergies and my daughter is picky, but they had such a nice range of treats. They were both allowed to pick out a sticker if they wanted and one item from any of the buckets...bouncy balls, notebooks, sunglasses...I also noticed they have a healthy-ish treat out. This time it was real fruit strips. Our visit was very enjoyable for everyone. And we can't wait to be back!

I will never go back to this place. First- FILTHY! The seat where my child was to have his hair cut was disgusting, busted, and covered with hair. I complained so she "vacuumed" it off but left lots of nasty hair and filth behind. It looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a very very long time. Second- I told her what hair cut I wanted for my son's FIRST cut (thought since it was for kids they would do a good job on a simple cut- wrong) and exactly what I didn't want done. Guess what I got? EXACTLY WHAT I TOLD HER NOT TO DO! I wanted a quintisential little boy hair cut, side part combed to the side. NOT your basic short short combed to the front cut. I mentioned this to her as she was cutting hair how I told her not to. Third- The cut is SLOPPY AND CHOPPY! IT LOOKS HORRIBLE! I can not style this to look nice. I have tried. It looks like a hack job and a half. Fourth- SHE WAS RUSHING! DANGEROUSLY SO! I asked her to slow down more than once. Lastly- a wash was supposed to be included. I washed his hair that morning but by the time we got to town he had some yucks in it. I mentioned this twice and was ignored. I was trying my hardest to stay calm but I WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EEEEEEVER go back there. THANK GOD I didn't take my daughter to this dive. If they would have butchered her slow growing hair I would have lost my temper. The skill level is seriously lacking. The ONLY reason this place does decent is because it is marketed to Children.
