        Founded in 1991, St. Thomas Episcopal Church is a multigenerational congregation, serving the Christian community of Birmingham, Ala. The church operates through acolytes, altar guild, Baptism, choir for adult, youth/junior and confirmation ministries. Its central act of worship is the weekly celebration of Holy Eucharist also known as the Lord's Supper or Holy Communion. The church also features the education for ministry program, good shepherd committee and flower guild ministry. Its worship includes traditional hymns and contemporary music.
