Guardian Scapes, Inc

The company i work for struggled so horribly with Guardian Scapes. Someone came in to quote us the mowing we needed done, and 3 attempts and a sit down with the manager later, our 370 dollar outside cleanup turned into over a thousand dollars. We argued because we were being jerked around so much, and she settled on only 800 dollars for the job, claiming the man who quoted the work originally wasn't in the right frame of mind (said he had a mental breakdown). Every week the men came in and did their work very quickly and left. Rarely on Wednesdays however, which is what was agreed upon before they started working for us. It was questioned several times by multiple associates what they did while they were here, but they did keep the grass mowed at least. After that, the manager decided to charge our credit card without giving us any acknowledgement or invoice, and then turned around and argued that she had not charged the card yet, even though our credit card statements were on the computer screen in front of us. Not only that, but she overcharged us for the second mowing, claiming she forgot our payment terms. Getting our credit card receipts from her were nothing short of a struggle. The manager suddenly became very difficult to get a hold of after this claiming she was the only one ever in the office (whenever she was). After both my boss and i called her several times, she developed a horrible attitude but finally sent over the needed paperwork. Our corporate office demands that we send them both an invoice, and a receipt after every payment or they will dispute the charges and get their money back. The manager of Guardian Scapes didn't seem to understand that because the next two mowings she did send us an invoice, but once again, did not send over the receipt right after she charged us. Our company has decided to buy our own lawn tractor and just do it ourselves. Based on stars of 1 through 5? I definitely will not recommend them to anyone.
