Aucamp Dellenback & Whitney Appraisers

First of all Mr. Aucamp was 45 mintues late for his appointment without the consideration of a phone call. He then proceeded to fly through our house in around 20 mintues. Next I got a bill for much more money than they originally quoted to me when I first phoned them. Then, the appraisal itself was a joke, as he only compared our house to a couple other homes in our community which, in all reality, I could have done myself by going into the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser website. A quality appraisal takes other homes into consideration OUTSIDE the community one lives in, to give a more rounded aspect of real estate in the area. But, we could tell by the way Mr. Aucamp treated us that he was not really interested in doing an appraisal of our humble home. He was more interested in telling us how he had just come from a huge house and that is why he was 45 minutes late. Obviously our home didn't merit any actual time or consideration as a HUGE house. Thanks for the cookie cutter appraisal Mr. Aucamp - I am guessing that you are getting about $500 per hour for ours!!
