Tuxedo Charters

As the officer in charge of planning my college organization's spring semester formal, I made sure to book a charter bus in advance. After searching through many companies, I settled on Tuxedo Charters. This is possibly the worst decision I could have ever made. I promptly called the number on their website and made arrangements for two 56 person charter buses to arrive at our campus promptly at 6:30 pm on the day of our event. Keep in mind these arrangements were made roughly a month almost a month and a half prior to our event. After emailing with the two managers about details and prices, I sent a check in the full amount along with a signed contract. Only a week later they called me and told me the check was lost in the mail and that they needed us to make another one. They also told me they could personally meet me to receive the check in person. I met one of the two managers and gave them a new check in the full amount. They promptly cashed the check even before they had provided their services to us. The morning of our very anticipated event I receive a voicemail saying that both of their buses are having technical problems and they aren't sure if they will be fixed by the time of our event. I called them back easily 25 to 30 times before they answered me back. When I asked them what form of alternate transportation or solution they would provide, they did nothing. Later, they told me that one of the charter buses was actually in Dallas transporting a different party. I was left having to find a way to transport 115 college students to a venue only with a few hours left until the event. We eventually figured it out ourselves and never heard anything from Tuxedo Charters again. Since our event we have been dealing with a lot of complications trying to get our money back. They have stood us up twice when we were supposed to meet to receive our check and they have deliberately been ignoring our phone calls and emails. I strongly urge anyone who is thinking about working with this company to rethink their decision. This company is not honest or ethical and no one deserves to be treated like we
