Ulta has a "rewards program" card you use when making a purchase. Before, you accumulated points with the amount of dollars you spend and if you had so many points, you used them on your next purchase. When the cashier swiped your card, the discounts came off automatically. The customer saw the great savings on the actual reciept. The reciept would show previous points, points used for todays purchase and points acquired from today's purchase. Now you hand your rewards card, they swipe it and begin ringing up your items for purchase and you get no discounts, and nothing shows up on your reciept unless the customer mentions what points they have and what is redeemable on today's purchase. Ulta does not want giving out discounts unless the customer reminds them. Now you only get $3 off on every one hundred dollars you spend, $6 on two hundred, PLUS, now your points you have acquired have AN EXPIRATION DATE! Ulta is such a rip-off now. The shelves are bare, they only order one or two actual pieces per item. If you want three Osis Magic you will only see ONE on the shelf, and that goes for most of their items. The salon I go to sells their Schwarzkopf for less. They discontinued FH1 hair dryers and carry cheaply made Solano and CHI for $200 and only last a few months. DO NOT LIKE ULTA ANYMORE!!!! I would give no star, but then this review can't be completed!!!!
