General Info: Wayne Builta Elementary School is a learning center that is governed by Indian Prairie Community Unit School District 204, which serves more than 28,820 students through over 30 elementary, middle and high schools, as well as alternative learning centers. Established in 1999, the school educates nearly 700 students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers English Language Learners and special education programs. Wayne Builta Elementary School also supports a range of activities, such as art, music, physical education, band and orchestra. The school operates a parent-teacher association that conducts fundraising activities. It features a library and media center that offers an accelerated reader program and birthday book club. The school s staff includes an interventionist, psychologist, social worker, student services coordinator, and speech and language pathologists.
