Alstarz Sports Pub

My wife and I were eating dinner here with our family this passed friday. An hour and a half into my meal we are approached by a meathead bouncer who tells me to take off my sports cap, Doing his best to intimidate me in front of my wife and family. Let's just be clear about one thing....YOU SHOULD NEVER ALLOW YOUR BOUNCERS TO APPROACH YOUR CUSTOMERS AT THEIR DINNER TABLE. PERIOD. NO EXCEPTIONS! !!!! And to top things off, they actually had the nerve to put up a velvet rope at 10pm and started charging people to come in and spend their money. IT'S A SPORTS BAR YOU IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is a cool place to go. The look and the vibe kind of suck you in; it is a very chic sports bar. As far as the food goes-- meh. It's nothing to write home about, at least the dishes I've had there. Be cautious of your ala carte spending. Some sides are outrageously priced. The staff could definitely be friendlier. I've been there for a few occasions and I keep waiting for something to get better...it needs something to make it become a go-to place, can't say what I would change, but I would recommend it for drinks...before heading to another eatery in Bordentown.

BECAUSE I REALLY CANT COME UP WITH ENOUGH THINGS TO SAY ABOUT ALSTARZ .
