Chateau Products

I purchased 3 Steel Platform Swivel Trucks (C-ST006) from Chateau Products approximately 9 months ago at a cost of $299 each. Within the first month of putting them into service, the wheels on the carts started falling off. We attempted to repair the carts several times before finally calling Chateau to see if they had a remedy for the problem. Susan, a sales supervisor, explained that they were aware of the problems and now had new, improved wheels available for those carts. She assured me that I would be contacted with a solution to the problem. Tammy, the customer service supervisor, did contact me and her “solution” was to SELL me the new and improved wheels at a cost of approximately $20 per wheel! There are a total of 18 wheels on the 3 carts so she said for every 2 that I purchased, Chateau would give me 1 for free. Having to shell out another $240 for wheels that needed to be replaced due to a design flaw that Chateau knew about is NOT a solution and it's not good business.
