Popeye's Chop House

This place is wonderful. It has been a true treasure for us to find. It is basically situated out in the farmlands of Clinton County. The lodgy atmosphere is especially wonderful around the holidays and a great romantic evening if you can sit by one of the fire places. MAKE A RESERVATION IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. The food is delicious. My husband and I have been a lot of places and had lots of steak, but the Filet Mignon at Popeyes is one of the best. It will melt in your mouth!!! The salad is always super cold and crisp and the potato soup is one of my husband's favorites. The service is also wonderful. They go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met. This is a great place to go on your birthday...they make it extra specail with a delicious treat!!! Definitely worth the drive.

Before Christmas I purchsed a gift certificate and was completely surprised by how courteous and friendly the staff was to me. I even had interrupted their preparations for the day by arriving there before the restaurant had opened. Job well done!
