Behler-Young Company, founded in 1926 and based in Brighton, Mich., is one of the leading suppliers to heating, air conditioning, hydronic and ventilating contractors throughout Michigan. The company occupies more than 400,000-square-feet of office and warehouse space in over 15 locations. It employs more than 200 people and has an over 180,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art distribution center in Brighton. Behler-Young provides assistance on commercial and industrial heating, air conditioning and ventilating products, and is a major distributor of Bryant and Payne HVAC products. It is also a dealer for Utica Boilers, Mitsubishi, Reznor, Hart & Cooley, Honeywell, Johns Manville and White-Rodgers. The company has training centers that serve more than 10,000 students in disciplines of HVAC installation and service. The training centers offer technical, sales and management training for customers and Behler-Young employees. The company provides a statewide delivery service and has a fleet of more than 25 delivery trucks.
